J.B. Arborcare has been caring for – and planting – trees in North East Somerset and North-West Wiltshire, including the vibrant market town of Chippenham, for many decades.
We’re proud to bring our experience and expertise to homes and businesses in Chippenham. Whether you’re in Cepen Park, Pewsham, Hardenhuish or Monkton Park, or in a nearby village such as Lacock, Kington Langley or Biddestone, our qualified and fully insured team delivers safe, professional tree care across the SN14 and SN15 postcode districts.
We’re well known locally for our commitment to conservation. We helped establish the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust’s Widbrook Wood on the River Avon which was formerly on our own family land, and the same respect for the region’s arboreal heritage shapes every job we take on. Wherever possible, we put the long-term health of a tree before unnecessary removal, and we explain your options clearly so you can make an informed decision.
Chippenham has a varied mix of mature gardens, riverside plots, modern housing estates and commercial sites, and each calls for a flexible approach. We bring the same attention to detail and commitment to safety to a single garden apple tree as we do to a larger tree-studded site managed for a landlord or business.
Every job starts with a free, no-obligation quotation and a clear plan for the works, with no hidden charges. Call us on 07595 325319 or get in touch online to arrange a visit.
From routine pruning and shaping to the safe removal of hazardous or diseased trees, we provide a full range of tree care for Chippenham homeowners, landlords and businesses.
Our core services include tree health assessments, tree surgery, tree felling, stump grinding and hedge, all carried out to a high standard by an experienced, top-tier team.
Our tree health assessments help spot problems early, which is often the best way to keep a much-loved tree standing. When felling is unavoidable, we work with full certification and insurance, so you can have complete confidence in the work. Once a tree is down, our stump grinding service clears the way for new planting, lawns, patios or building work.
Hedges along Chippenham’s residential roads and property boundaries need regular attention to stay healthy and well shaped. Our hedge maintenance is tailored to your requirements, from a one-off trim to regular visits through the year.
If a tree, large branch or root system presents a risk to people, property or critical infrastructure, our responsive emergency tree service is ready to help. For projects that need extra support, we also offer specialist equipment for hire, including a tracked woodchipper, cherry picker and narrow-access multi-purpose loader, which is ideal for tight spaces and awkward access.
Whatever the size of the job, we follow our own quality assurance pledge, from the first consultation and a detailed plan for the works through to after-service feedback.
Trees in and around Chippenham are subject to a range of regulations, and getting it wrong can be costly.
We’re experts in the rules covering designated conservation areas and trees protected by Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs), and we can advise on what’s needed before any work begins, including any permission or notification required by Wiltshire Council. We work with a wide range of customers, including private homeowners, landlords, public sector organisations, developers, builders, facilities managers and local businesses. For commercial clients, we can provide one-off tree work or ongoing support across larger sites, such as industrial estates, business parks and retail parks like those at Bumpers Farm, Langley Park, Methuen Park and Hathaway.
Our team covers Chippenham and the surrounding area, whether your site is in the town centre, close to the River Avon, along the A350 or A420, or near the M4 at Junction 17. We communicate transparently throughout, so you always know what’s planned, when we’ll arrive and what it will cost.
Our growing list of glowing reviews, and the amount of work we receive through word-of-mouth recommendation, reflect the standard we hold ourselves to.
